What would you do!?

So every Friday night there is this show on channel 15 called "What would you do!?"  I have watched a few of the episodes and some of them have been ok while others have been a little difficult to watch.  Well it was interesting today that I had my own experience of "What would you do!?"  I was at D.I. with my mother-in-law.  We had been through the entire store and was getting ready to leave.  Well I was helping my MIL look for something before we headed up to the front to pay.  As I walked by the furniture section of the store I saw a women remove a twenty five dollar sticker from a coffee table and replace it with a five dollar sticker.  I was pretty shocked and did not know what to do.  She caught my glance and gave me a very nasty look.  I walked away and told my MIL that I was ready to go.  We went up to the front of the store where I saw the same woman paying for the table that she had repriced herself.  After I paid for my items I had this feeling that I just could not leave without talking to a manager.  So I told my MIL that I would be right back.  I went and found the manager and told her what I had seen and pointed out the woman who had removed the original price.  She was at the back of the store.  So after I told what had happened I high tailed it out of there because they were paging her to the front of the store.  I made it out and to my car undetected by my adversary.  I had spent twenty minutes contemplating on what I should do and when I left I knew I had made the right decision.  I told my MIL that the only thing I really wanted was to be a fly on the wall so I could see her reaction but I am glad I left before there was any confrontation.  So later on I was thinking about the show and remembered that they are holding a contest.  They are looking for people to come up with the best ways for episodes.  So I submitted an entry on what happened to me.  It would be nice to win.  I would get a trip to New York to be on the set of What would you do?  It would be pretty cool.

Beckett, Kohwin, New dog, ETC...ETC....

Monday started my week off of CHILDREN all day, everyday!! Monday I had Beckett while my sister had a doctors appointment.  We ran some errands and had some fun.  On Tuesday I got to have Ryan and Eliza my middle sisters children for a few hours.  We watched Madagascar II and had lunch.  Afterwards Ryan insisted that we go over and play with Kohwin.  They jumped on the trampoline and chased each other.  Then they pretended that the chickens were attacking them and would run away.  When the kids went home, Kohwin decided that he would spend his afternoon parked in front of our couch playing with Ken's vintage cars.  It was so funny, he talks to his cars the same way little girls talk to their dolls.  I was having so much fun watching him.  On Wednesday I got to have Beckett again.  After his mom left the kids came running down the street calling for Beckett.  They were so excited to see him.  We all decided to go to the park.  We had a little bit of a scare though.  Wednesday night my mom was admitted to the hospital.  She is doing good now but we had a little bit of scare.  So Thursday I had to get up and head to my parents side of town.  I picked up Anna and the kids on my way and went to the hospital.  We were all able to go in and see her, she was so happy to see her grandkids.  Today I got to go and see my parents new dog at the clinic.  He is so cute and resembles a dog that we used to have when we were children.  Such a crazy WEEK!!

Beckett time!!!

So for the last year while my sister and brother in law are in school I have had the opportunity to watch my nephew Beckett.  I call it Beckett time!  I love having him over and he never disappoints me in how fun he is. So today he was here and we did a couple of different thing.  One we jumped on the trampoline, we saw some chicken and we played with a new toy that Uncle Ken got from his father.  so here are the pictures.

Wednesday means GROCERY SHOPPING!!!

Wow two posts in under a week I am on a roll! So every Wednesday is my grocery shopping day.  I look forward to it all week because I can not wait to see what deals I am going to be able to get.  Well lately the adds have not been giving me a lot of hope.  So I thought that today would be no different.  Well I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were many great deals today.   So normally I buy just the basics unless I need something for dinner that week.  But today when I saw the ads and saw that there were many thing that we normally eat that were on such a great deal I decided to stock up.  Now I have stuff to put into our camping side of the pantry so I wont have to buy when we go camping.  So the final over haul.....9 packages of snack pack pudding, 8 boxes of betty crocker fruit snacks, 8 boxes of hamburger helper, 9 bottles of suave body wash, 2 bottles of V8 fusion smoothie, 2 boxes of pop tarts, 1 thing of soft soap hand soap, (4) 4 packages of toilet paper, 2 gallons of milk, 2 boxes of cat litter, (4) 1 pound tubs of blueberries, (2) 1 pound tubs of strawberries, 4 roma tomatoes, 1 head of lettuce, (1) 3lb box of cuties oranges, 4 apples, 1 avocado, 4 packages of hugely sliced hormel pepperoni.
Jed just wanted to show off how well he does his stretches.  I think he just need some attention.

And the grand total is........drum roll please.....61.53 YEAH!!! I saved 94.80.  Which is absolutely crazy!! I am so happy.  We are going camping a couple of times this year and a lot of this is going into that planning.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Jed wearing Ken's hat.

HAHA!! He almost looks like he could fit into it.
So the New Year started off with a lot of craziness.  I won't go into to many details because a lot of it is personal to other people.  Let's just say that we are only 16 days into the new year and it is already interesting.  We have a lot of exciting things coming up.  We cannot wait to get our taxes done, in hopes that we will be able to buy a camping trailer this year.  If not then Ken is buying me an I PAD!!! I am so excited.  For me it is a win win situation.  I am also excited because someone close to me is moving closer to me and we have a new nephew being born on February 9th.  We will also be done with our adoption classes by the end of February.  We hope to have a child by Christmas.  A week ago we were at D.I. (not that we can go a month without going even if we tried) and bought this really cool butterfly kite.  Not the cheap plastic kind.  This was still cheap but made of nylon and it is pretty strong.  When we bought them I was not thinking we would get to use them so quickly.  We the pictures are at the bottom.  Today was a day off for the kids.  So we got to have a lot of fun.  Not all of these pictures are from today but I wanted to share them all with you.  We had so much fun with our favorite people.  We are off to a fantastic start.
