FINALLY!!!

On Tuesday the 15th we signed papers for the house.  Immediately we started making changes to the house.  on Wednesday i woke up and packed the trailer full of boxes.  When Ken got home we hauled it over to the new house.  When we got here there was a gentleman here fixing some problems with the house.  He got upset when he found out we wanted to move stuff in.  He told us that we did not own it till Friday.  Well we have never boughten a house so we did not understand what he was talking about.  we told him that we put money down and signed papers.  He made a quick phone call to the broker for the house and she told him that it was ok.  Twenty minutes later our real estate agent shows up saying that they just recieved a call from the cops saying that we were breaking in and that they were going to come and check it out.  Well now we were really confused.  We told her that we were told it was ok.  In the end we found out that it was not ok and that we were not able to do anything to the house till friday the 18th.  So we hauled everything back out and into our neighbors backyard.  On friday we waited till 3:30 to get keys.  Then we worked for 6 hours to get a whole bunch of stuff done.  The next day was moving day and 70 percent of our stuff was moved.  So we got to spend the night here on saturday and we are loving it.  Now this week is dedicated to projects that need to be done around the house.  We are so excited and happy and we will have a crazy story to tell our children and grandchildren about buying our first house.
