A lot of people don't know this but I love chickens and anything having to do with them. It all started back in October of 2005. I was in Institute with my friends Sophie, Steve and Ken. The teacher was talking about Joseph Smith translating the gold plates and how he would have used quills to write. She said "There must have been a lot of featherless chickens running around that farm." To this day just even writing it for my blog and I start laughing. So it became a major joke with my group of friends. Not even two weeks later it was deemed by my friends that I must have a chicken living in my head. Thank goodness I was not alone, it was also deemed that Sophie had a badger living in hers. Over the course of 3 months the chicken in my head got more and more elaborate. They named him Pete, I said that he was featherless but fuzzy and when I saw the 5th Harry potter which there is a green quill in it it was determined that Pete was green. So I had a a Green, Featherless, Fuzzy chicken, and this was a huge joke and a way for my friends to really get me laughing. So chickens are my favorite animal and I have decided that I will have a "Chicken Kitchen". I know I sound pretty crazy but I don't care. This is something that always gets me and my friends laughing. So here are some pictures that I have taken of chickens.
This picture is taken at a pet store. Seriously. It is a pet store where most of the animals are farm animals.
The picture below I found on the internet and is my desktop wallpaper.
This is obviously a picture of a chicken and I took it because his feathers go all the way to his feet. There is a neighborhood down the street from us that the whole neighborhood is only 3 blocks wide and 2 blocks long. There is only one way in and out, and it is farm animal property. The chickens, turkeys, and peacocks roam the streets. It is really weird, but I love it. The next time my best friend comes to town I am taking her to see this.
